Tina Fey, apparently, coined the term “mom jeans.” She and Maya Rudolph came up with it when writing a skit for SNL in 2003.
So, A) I didn’t know Tina Fey came up with it, and
B) I did NOT know that the term has only been around for seven years. Doesn’t it feel like it’s been around forever? I guess that’s the mark of a clever invention: you can’t remember how you ever lived without it.
