Crossed off the to-do list (meant to write this earlier; haven't been able to use a computer since Friday)
Mosh Mosh with one of my best friends (I have three.) Watch said best friend get made out with and groped by drunk dude Pass drunk dude on the stairs on the way out, watch best friend say “oh, hello!” when drunk dude brushes past, watch drunk dude reply “Hello mothafuckaaah!”
Also, Christopher Walken as Mary Jones in Precious 2: Electric Boogaloo. Just sayin’. (“Real women … sacrifice. You fat bitch.”)
Why are the plays I want to see getting such lousy reviews?
Granted, I based my wanting to see “Mr. and Mrs. Fitch” on the fact that John Lithgow is in it, and I based my (quickly dashed) desire to see “A Behanding in Spokane” on the fact that it stars (a reportedly fantastic) Christopher Walken, but both plays have gotten awful reviews. If they didn’t cost CRAZY MONEY I might be tempted to ignore the reviews, but we’re talking $70 and up (that’s for the Off-Broadway play, I haven’t even checked the Broadway play, but I assume it’s more).
Still want to see “Next Fall” and “The Pride.” But bad reviews for plays with John Lithgow and Christopher Walken make me muy triste.
